The Prevention and Protection directorate will provide professional advice, comprehensive policy guidance, coordination of collaborative work and effective, accessible communications to support the FRS in their task of delivering safer communities.

The aim of the Performance and Improvement directorate is to provide leadership for the Association in dealings with internal and external stakeholders within the areas of finance, legal, information technology, political association, risk management and performance management.

The Operational Response directorate will provide professional advice, comprehensive policy guidance, coordination of collaborative work and effective, accessible communications on operational service delivery.

In order to influence fire, rescue and community prosperity CFOA harnesses the collective professional and technical expertise of its members to shape policy and to lead and manage the service across the UK.
